Measure the widest part
from sidewall to sidewall.
Measure both hands
Use a flexible measuring tape, or mark both sidewalls on a small piece of clear tape and measure the distance in millimeters.
Check the full width
The press-on should cover the natural nail from sidewall to sidewall without pressing into the surrounding skin.
Between two sizes?
Choose the slightly larger nail and gently refine the side edges with a file rather than forcing a nail that is too narrow.
